Create keys in Settings
Open Settings → Developer on a Starter, Growth, or Scale workspace. Create a key, note the plan limit, and store the secret outside the repo.
Public read-only API integration
Integrate reporting or lightweight dashboards without writing back into inventory. The public API is read-only; posting stays in the product UI.

What you can read
v1 endpoints cover items, partners, warehouses, stock, purchase orders, sales orders, inbound receipts, and outbound shipments. OpenAPI docs in the product list paths and fields.
Rate and scope limits
Expect per-key rate limits near 60 requests per minute. Keys cannot post documents or change master data; use the product for mutations.
